The Sun Never Sets | Chapter 6 - Voices on the Breeze

Chapter 6 - Voices on the Breeze The three of them walk for hours and see nothing, which is both a blessing and a curse. By all rights Alice should have felt elated that they had found someone else, or at the very least, relieved that there may be other people out there who did not necessarily want to kill them. Yet, there was something vexing about listening to the two other women converse in a tongue that she did not understand, it was like an itch just beneath the surface of the skin; and for some unfathomable reason the sight of them talking causes an uncomfortable weight to settle in the pit of her stomach.

The Sun Never Sets | Chapter 5 - Dark Dreams and Chance Encounters

Chapter 5 - Dark Dreams and Chance Encounters As Alice stared down the long stretch of ruined corridor, she could feel the nerves as they bubbled away in the pit of her stomach. Chapter 2 - The Ruins of Home As the pair of them left the cave the change in atmosphere was immediately apparent, so that Alice felt as though she had been snuggled in a comfortable blanket that had suddenly been stripped from her. Fears that had lain dormant the night before began creeping in from the corners of her mind, and she could clearly skull-like faces of those skeletal creatures in her imagination. Her disposition was not helped by the fact that the day had dawned so overcast, and the sunlight was filtered through the heavy clouds, so that everything was bathed in a miserable grey light.

New Blog!

Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to my latest exercise in vanity. This new blog is more about flexing my creative muscles, and hosting my original works for you to enjoy; or tear to shreds, as the case may be.  I've always enjoyed writing, but very rarely have I had the guts to share my original works with people, so this is my attempt to do just that.  So without further ado. let's get on with the show, and I hope you all enjoy it!
